Booking terms and conditions

Rates

Rates are per night and include all taxes except the tourist tax (see below). They cover linens, towels, end-of-stay options, Wi-Fi, parking and access to the pool, garden and jacuzzi during opening hours.

Minimum stay

The minimum stay is three (3) nights. In off-peak season, a two-night stay may be granted on request, subject to availability and at the host's discretion.

Payment

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, payable by bank transfer to the IBAN provided in the booking confirmation. The booking is firm only once the deposit has been received.

The balance of the stay is paid on arrival, in cash or by bank transfer. As private hosts, we cannot accept credit cards.

Cancellation policy

• More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.
• Between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit retained.
• Less than 7 days before arrival: no refund.

Cases of force majeure (serious illness, natural disaster) are examined individually. We strongly recommend taking out a cancellation insurance.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €250 is requested on arrival, by cheque (for French residents) or credit card imprint. It is returned in full within 7 days after departure, provided the apartment is left in good condition and no damage has been observed.

Check-in and check-out

• Arrival: between 4pm and 7pm.
• Departure: before 11am.

A late arrival outside these hours can be arranged in advance — please contact us. We will do our best to be flexible.

Tourist tax

A tourist tax of €2.53 per adult and per night is collected on behalf of the municipality of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and is payable on arrival, in addition to the rental price. Children under 18 are exempt.

Cleaning fee

The end-of-stay cleaning is optional (a check-box at booking). If you choose not to include the cleaning fee, the apartment must be returned clean and tidy: kitchen washed up, fridge emptied, bins taken out, bed linens left in the dedicated basket. Otherwise, the cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in the apartments. We have observed allergy issues with some guests, and we prefer to keep the property allergen-free. Thank you for your understanding.

Smoking

The apartments are strictly non-smoking inside. Smoking is permitted on the terraces and in the garden, provided cigarette ends are not thrown on the ground.

House rules

• Quiet hours: 10pm – 8am. Please be considerate of other guests and the neighbourhood.
• Pool: open 9am – 9pm. Use is at the guests' own risk; children must always be supervised by an adult. No diving, no glass bottles.
• Sauna and jacuzzi: time slots must be booked in advance with the hosts. A small fee may apply to cover heating up.
• Visitors: day visitors are welcome but must be announced. No additional overnight guests without the host's agreement.
• Number of guests: the apartment cannot be occupied by more guests than the booking specifies.

Liability

Au Petit Bonheur cannot be held responsible for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings within the apartments or in the common areas. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by them or by their party during the stay.

Disputes

Any dispute relating to a booking shall first be the subject of amicable negotiation between the parties. Should that fail, the competent courts shall be those of Avignon, France. French law applies.
